ECCE

Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme      Once your child turns 2 years 8 months they are  entitled to free preschool at the next entry point which is sept of each year. The hours for Ecce is 9.30 am to 12.30 pm 5 days per week for 38 weeks  (aligned to the local school term). 

Additional hours may be availed of on request. Children who are in Fulltime/Part time childcare who are eligible for Ecce free Preschool year(s) will have their Ecce grant deducted from their weekly fee amount. Places are limited, so book early.  A booking deposit is required.

CCSP SCHEME

The Community Childcare Private/Plus Program providers support  for parents on low income to avail of reduced childcare costs. The DCY pays a portion of the childcare costs for eligible children and the parent pays the remainder of the fees. Eligibility is determined by their status with the Dept of Social Protection.

CCSU SCHEME

Community Childcare Subvention Programme commenced  on Sept 2017 as a part of the Government policy to make childcare more affordable. The DCYA have introduced a universal childcare subvention payment od up to €20 per week for the care of children agrd 6 months to 3 years, unless the child is availing of any other Gov childcare scheme. This payment will deducted from your weekly fee amount.

 

 

 

The Better Start Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) is a model of supports designed to ensure that children with disabilities can access the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme.  Its goal is to empower service providers to deliver an inclusive pre-school experience, ensuring that every eligible child can fully participate in the ECCE programme and reap the benefits of quality early years care and education.
